A High-Energy Tech Hype Video in 72 Hours
We started with a simple question.
Could we go from concept to a finished high-energy tech hype video in just three days?
There was one catch. Volkarock did not exist. We treated it like a real tech company with real stakes and a fixed deadline. The goal was to stress-test our Quantum Mechanics workflow under a 72-hour constraint and see how far we could go.
From nothing to a fully developed video in three days.
What we can do in just 72 hours
The challenge
Most tech hype videos feel the same. Swap the logos out and nothing changes.
For Volkarock, we added another constraint. We had to invent the brand from scratch.
The challenge was clear and unforgiving:
- Create a believable visual direction
- Build a custom UI world that did not feel templated
- Keep the pace fast without losing clarity
- Make it sound as good as it looked
All within a three-day window.
What we delivered in 72 hours
In three days, we had:
- A high-pace hype video that felt like a real tech brand
- A visual asset designed to support a landing page or pitch
- A proof-of-concept piece that could excite prospects and partners

If You Lead a Team, This Will Feel Familiar
You’ve probably felt this tension before:
-
The event date is fixed
-
The product is still moving
-
Stakeholders want something “epic” and “on brand”
-
Fast starts to feel risky
-
You worry speed will mean rushed, off-brand, or compromised
And underneath it all is the real question:
Will this actually land on time, on budget, and the way we need it to?
Our workflow is built to absorb that chaos so it doesn’t land on you.
How We Did It
The Quantum Mechanics Workflow in 72 Hours
We did not rush. We made deliberate decisions early.
Defined the visual direction
We built Volkarock’s identity from the ground up, then pushed it into a cinematic, energetic space so it could stand alongside real tech brands.
Created a custom UI base
- Selected a UI foundation we could reshape
- Reworked it in Figma to feel distinctly Volkarock
- Designed layouts that would animate cleanly and stay readable
Blended motion design and 3D
We combined motion graphics with 3D elements to add depth and momentum while keeping the visuals clear and focused.
Locked in music and sound design
- Chose music that supported the energy
- Added sound design to emphasize key moments without overwhelming them
The extra day gave us room to push the creative while staying on schedule.

We wanted to incorporate elements other than just basic shapes and colors

Why Optious
We make fast feel safe
Most studios can move quickly.
Very few can do it without pushing stress, decisions, and risk back onto your team.
Here’s what’s different.
We absorb chaos so you don’t have to
When timelines are fixed and products are still evolving, we take ownership of clarity and execution. You don’t need to babysit the process.
Speed without shortcuts
Our speed comes from experience and decision-making, not cutting corners. The work still holds up when the lights turn on.
A process that removes uncertainty early
The 6-point contact loop is designed to reduce revision cycles and late surprises, not add overhead.
First drafts aimed at “That’s it”
We do not aim for version one.
We aim for “this is already close.”
Brand-first, not template-first
Every frame is designed around your product, tone, and audience. Nothing recycled. Nothing generic.
Built-in room to refine
Even when we move fast, we protect time to polish what matters most.

It feels like someone mapped the route, cleared the traffic, and is driving.
The promise
When we started Optious, my sons and I had zero formal animation experience.
What we did have was a promise:
-
Build the kind of company I always wished I was hiring
-
Respect people’s time, money, and trust
-
Be easy to work with and relentless about quality
That promise became the Quantum Mechanics workflow you just saw in action.
If you have a fixed date, moving parts, and no room for surprises, we should talk.
