Cape Analytics Tradeshow Motion Graphics

Trade show floors are one of the hardest environments to communicate in. There is no captive audience, no guaranteed audio, and about three seconds to earn someone's attention before they keep walking. For Cape Analytics, a company using AI to transform how the insurance industry understands property risk, the challenge was distilling something technically sophisticated into a video that could stop foot traffic and hold it without a single word of voiceover. Their second video with Optious had to do more than introduce the brand. It had to carry the full weight of the message on its own.

We built the piece around kinetic typography as the primary communication tool, which meant every text decision carried more responsibility than usual. Timing, readability at a glance, pacing between ideas: each of these had to account for someone catching the video mid-scroll from ten feet away rather than watching from the beginning with headphones in. The terminology inside AI-driven insurance is not casual language, so we put research time into understanding it well enough to present it with confidence rather than just dress it up visually. Motion graphics tracking over stock footage anchored the first video. This one pushed into 3D, with a lit and textured house sequence that added dimensional credibility to a product that is fundamentally about the physical world.

Cape Analytics walked away with a trade show presence that did not ask for attention politely. It commanded it. That is what happens when the constraint of silence becomes a design decision rather than a limitation.
